In order to join the Vaca Pallaresa Breeders Association, it is necessary to meet all the following points:
- Having a herd of Pallaresa cows.
- Be registered as a livestock farm in the Department of Agriculture.
- Ensure that the farm can absorb the livestock load.
- Have the livestock located in a mountain area (habitat of the breed).
- Have some facilities under cover for those cattle that need it.
- Have a handling sleeve to carry out the obligatory sanitation, carry out the veterinary controls and be able to take the samples and zoometric variables necessary for the Stud Book of the Pallaresa bovine breed.
- Pay a registration fee of €200.
- Pay an annual fee of €6 per animal over 2 years of age on January 1 of the corresponding year.
